| What constitutes a quality life for your pet(s)?
I've got so many animals right now that I've started asking myself how much quality time can I give each animal and is it enough or should I do what's best for them and downsize. I'm always open to placing some of my cats but I need to know that they are going to a better place where they will get more freedom, attention, and a higher quality of life than I'm able to offer them. I've placed quite a few cats I swore I couldn't let go because my heart strings would break. One female was so sweet and deserved to have a really special home. I had her in a cage with an exercise scvhedule where I'd make sure she got out to roam around the house on a daily basis. Not bad but the woman who wanted to adopt her only had a dog so she is now free to roam the whole house and sleep under the bed covers with her new human. I miss her but I know she is where she's greatly loved. The only problem is that other people want all of my sweet babies, not the independant ones. So if I let all the sweet cats go all I have left are the independant ones. That would leave me wanting.
So what do you think constitutes a "quality of life" for your pets? |
